It blows my mind that one of these organizations doesn’t just drop the pretense and hire teenage Americans to be the social media people for the effort; send over your crew, hire the locals to actually do the work, & then use the videos, tweets, photos, etc from your efforts to raise more money here to invest in the local economy of the place where they do the work. It would engage a whole new generation of Americans in important work & have better outcomes.
