I wouldn’t go as far as to say this woman is a terrible person, but two things in particular stuck out:
- The author of this piece wants to leave and not be close to a man after having, well, intimate relations with him. This strikes me as rather, how do I say this, odd. I asked myself “What kind if relationship did this lady have with her father?” when she shared how she doesn’t like to be touched or cuddled after having sex.
- The author of the piece refers to the “toxic monogamy […] our culture prioritizes”, as if monogamy and lifetime commitment are bad things.
Based on this lady’s writing, while I might enjoy a friendship with her, I don’t think we would be compatible in a physically intimate relationship. And this is why I like to take things slowly, to best determine compatibility before taking a relationship to the next level.
