ArcControl for Ableton Live

I’m developing a new ensemble at Berklee that features a group of musicians playing exclusively grid interfaces. This requires some new software which I’m uploading to my github. All the devices are designed for variable brightness LEDs and use autofocus so multiple instances can be used simultaneously. This weekend I tested the software at the Berklee Music Production workshop where a group of 10 people jammed with their monomes, synced up with Ableton Link.

Today I merged my monome arc high resolution anti-aliased display abstractions with the live.api, enabling the arc to control any parameter in Live seamlessly with zero headaches. Here is a quick tour.

You can download ArcControl for free here. It’s included in the Gridlab bundle.
