In recent year, Large Language Models (LLMs) have been substantial in transforming Artificial Intelligence. Training on vast datasets, these models have started to assist in our day-to-day activities. This outsized impact on technology has made it clear, that these LLMs are here to stay for a long time and won’t stop flourishing anytime soon.
WHAT ARE LARGE LANGUAGE MODELS?
Large Language Models are deep learning model, which perform variety of tasks. LLMs are trained using massive datasets and uses Transformer Models. This grants them the ability to recognize, translate, predict and generate text, images or other contents.

To break it down LLMs are based on these components : Datasets, Architecture and Training. LLMs are trained on large datasets of text which can be books, documents or articles. These large datasets can lead up to petabytes containing almost billions of text data.
Now, these large datasets are processed in Architecture, which is a neural network, and for most LLMs, they use Transformer Neural Network Architecture. Transformer allows to handle multiple sequences of data like sentences or line of code. It is designed to understand each concept of the word in the sentence, to build a context, providing an understanding to the model.
Architecture then trains the datasets, which allows to make prediction based on the input the user has provided. During training, certain parameters are adjusted to learn more about the data, bringing out the optimal response for predictions.

LLMs are revolutionizing multiple sectors, and their use cases are expanding on a daily basis. Few noteworthy applications are :
