Hope for world improvement

I’ve been intently listening to all the news reports interviewing average citizens of American as to their feelings about the future of our country with Trump entering the Presidency. It has struck me — hard — that EVERYONE to a tee has provided some sort of self-centered response that includes their personal and/or a family member’s employment improvement opportunity.
Does everyone really believe that they should have the great job and pay, and that it does not matter what everyone else gets for their life?
With every passing moment, jobs are going away in our world. This is a reality that will NEVER turn around.
I see most American citizens now thinking about the short-term present and themselves vs. a holistic global solution and approach. If YOU get the limited resources then those that are left without will view you as a future target to take from. This is nature 101 and it will NEVER be erased from any world.

And creating more needless stuff and needless jobs — just for the sake of the economy — is killing our planet. This is so evident today with nearly everything of economic value running low and out. So more jobs is no long-term solution either.
Automation, computerization, artificial intelligence, etc. are forces that also contribute to the diminishing jobs phenomenon and these too will only increase and accelerate the problem issue with jobs.
I MUST conclude that on the present course with the present (ancient) model — there’s absolutely no hope for an improved future with it. Jobs will continue to go away and violence, corruption and attacks — both physical and virtual — will continue to increase. With this, fear, stress and unhealthy minds and bodies will continue to increase and the whole mess will just implode into a huge mess for everyone across the entire planet.
I’ve concluded there’s only one viable solution — if we really want to hand a better world over to our kids and grandkids…
The base model MUST be changed.
What does this mean for the world everyone understands today?
It means much of what we all understand to be reality needs to change. Meaning the economic model needs to change, governance needs to change, and education needs to change. These are the three big systems that make up any sustainable societal model.
The concept of changing the entire operating model of our world is a gigantic undertaking. I know this because this is what I’ve been working on for the past decade plus. In this article, there’s no way I can even begin to tell you what discoveries I’ve made that offer the world hope. But, I can tell you, I have what I believe to be a viable roadmap — one tangible set of details to began a serious discussion with.
So allow me to just give a few highlights of my roadmap:
- Jobs no longer are critically important to hold up the economy.
- Valued work, especially creativity, is now what is important.
- Efficiency and conservation of physical resources is what is measured to assess the new model’s economic growth.
- Personal happiness becomes much more important.
- There’s a single global digital currency that is strictly limited based on a new type of “gold standard.”
- Every citizen is 100% engaged — mostly virtually and mostly indirectly— in all levels of governance.
- ALL education is free and is no longer a part of the economic system.
- No one and no nation or corporation owns anything — physical or virtual.
- Monetary corruption is impossible given the new money system.
- Equality and freedom of choice abound.
- Even though everyone feels they exist in one big global community across all time — localization is the focus of daily life.
- The ecosystems and non-renewable resources see increasingly less stress and our planet actually heals in time, so each next generation actually has a better environment with which to create a good life.
- Indefinite long-term sustainability is possible given the new balancing act.
I could go on and on with highlights, but rest assured — the positives greatly outnumber the new negatives. Understand though that there are ALWAYS negatives with any world model. In my new model most are simply natural challenges our universe has and NOT man-made problems.
I’m certain all the great minds of our world today would have a field day challenging my design. But this is exactly what MUST happen next — if we are to co-create a next better solution. We MUST compare something new and different to what exists now. Does the ‘new’ offer more positive than negative as compared to the same with the ‘old’ model? Then the better of all the newly imagined possibilities can be worked toward.
All the work, I see, going on today are futile attempts at patching a very broken model that has very few days left before it totally implodes. Have you noticed how — for the average citizen of our world — life has been getting progressively worse over the past several decades? Not just the poor, but the middle class too.
The oligarchs are actually seeing better and better lives — it’s a very sad reality in our world today. You see, the present model was created by the oligarchs, to assure they always maintain the power and the limited — and diminishing — wealth our planet has left in it. This is the stark reality of our money-based capitalism.

My new model also utilizes capitalism, but NOT money-based. Instead it looks to happiness-based capitalism — where EVERYONE is doing all they can to maximize happiness in their life. With happiness-based capitalism many of the natural negative behaviors that exist in today’s world actually generate more positives. E.g. when you lie and cheat to create more happiness in your personal life then often this generates more happiness in others.
My new model has solutions that work with the inherent nature of human beings. It does not ask anyone to be anything other than their natural selves. But it goes far beyond this, and actually demands they be more honest and true to who they really are. My model asks everyone to focus on positive creativity, freely sharing it and generating as much happiness as possible with it. Simultaneously this positive creativity is incorporated into the economic system to improve efficiency and reduce wastefulness.
Sounds too good to be true, right?
First we must imagine it — then we can assess it — thereafter we can agree to build it into reality!
All I have, here and now, is one particular seed of improvement possibility. It will never grow to impact our whole world — if it stays in my garden. It must be shared and spread. That’s all this new approach needs at this time. Please consider sharing it with others. If the concept can create a critical mass following, then it will have a real chance to create future improvement for our kids and grandkids. Staying the course, I fear, guarantees disaster — and much sooner than most believe.
