Unrestrained, Unsustainable Migration?
Aydin Kurt-Elli

Politics without meaningful targets is aspirational at best, dishonest at worst. Can Government(s) declare a target and explain an underpinning rationale — businesses do this all the time. You don’t wait to see who arrives at your door and then deal with it — surely it has to be a balance of an acceptable percentage of unpredictable arrivals with a needed-skills-list.

Radically different operational approaches would be needed if the net migration target was 30, 30,000 or 300,000. It’s time to ask our politicians to plan in advance, explain their arguement and then be held accountable.
