First For Everything
New to this… Lets see how it goes

Well, I guess the time has come… I finally made a blog. I felt like this would be the best way to express my feelings and thoughts about myself, and my friends, and work, and life in general. So pretty much the basic reasons why people make blogs. Haha. I’m not sure where to start when I do my “blog of the day” - I suppose chronologically would be helpful. Lets do this!
My morning went just as planned. I had a spare first block at school, so I slept in until about 9am. I woke up and showered; my usual morning routine. I had some breakfast and then packed up everything I needed for my day. Usually my days will consist of school, plus another added on activity. Could be work, or the gym, or hanging out with friends. But today was just work. I grabbed my duffle bag and packed my work pants, socks, shirt, and belt (of course all black in colour) for later and headed out the door.
I arrived to school around 10 am. Just before Bible class started. By this time of the year, Grad students really are just hanging on for dear life. We are so done with everything. I’ve personally felt that way since like Grade 11… haha. But, despite that fact. I am still happy to have something to fill my days with. So if that means school- oh well. I get to see my friends and hangout (I have lots of free time at school with my 3 spares and all, so I am always chatting with random people and teachers in the halls). Oh where was I… Bible class. {FYI, get used to my side tangents. I tend to have many conversations in one paragraph. lol} …Back to bible! Well, today was a presentation on Sexual Purity presented by Emma. It was very well done, I enjoyed listening to her opinions on this topic. Considering this topic is mostly based on opinions, we had some heated discussions between classmates if sex was okay before marriage. Personally, I think all cases and relationships are different and there isn’t one “right” answer to it all. We can all make the same choice but receive different outcomes, right? So yeah, interesting to listen to and it made me think of myself and my own relationship as well. I don’t make sex (or want it to be) what my relationship revolves around. There is more to a person then banging them on a Friday night. I would 1000 times rather go walk the Seawall with them or go for a weekend away with massages and wine. But that’s just me. See… another opinion. Bible class is all about point-of-views and discussions on real world problems. It is very fascinating to be apart of.
Time for a break. All this thinking and typing is making me hungry.
Back. Got myself a bucket of chips… yes, a bucket. lol- my parents are sleeping and I didn’t want to wake them up by rustling open a bag. So I brought what was there back to my room.
After bible class I went for lunch with my friends Bradley and Shelby. We decided to go to McDonalds. Not a huge fan of that because I really am trying to watch my calorie intake and try to be a bit health conscious. haha! After lunch ended I had to come back to school to take a Biology test I had missed last week. It was on the Nervous System; pretty easy. I think I got a solid A. But, honestly, whatever I did get my mark wont change drastically at all. Too late in the year for that. Once my test was over I headed to Fabutan! My boyfriend got me hooked on tanning. Having a nice colour to your skin (other then pasty white) is so nice to have! So I have been going for about 3 weeks now. I try not to go too too much, because I do not want to go orange. haha. But a nice base tan and definition would be nice to have for my Europe trip this summer. Nothing too exciting happened at the tanning salon. Just in and out because I was meeting my boyfriend for lunch at 2:30. I drove to Petsmart and got there literally on the nose, 230 exactly. ☺ It makes my day when I can see my bf because he really does making me happy and smile. Spending 30 minutes with him comforts and relaxes me all day. I am so thankful and happy that we are together. He is my traveling, hiking, movie, tv show, and shopping buddy but most importantly he is my best friend. We compliment each other so well. We just sat at the Starbucks in Chapters and had drinks (He had a White Hot Chocolate and I had an Iced Vanilla Latte). He doesn’t drink coffee. Which has also taught me to cut back my coffee intake as well. I appreciate everything that he values and works hard for. He has taught me that the most important things in life are the relationships you have with the people around you. They are the ones who influence you and either help you grow as a person or the opposite (which is not good at all). I feel so grateful to have a strong group of friends and family. I am supported everywhere I turn and I have purposely left behind those who haven’t made positive impacts in my life or that I know won't— Well, this is just a small bit of how Kyle has impacted my life. You will hear lots more about him in the coming posts. ☺ Continuing on from my lunch date with him I headed over to my work (which is Starbucks). I started at 4 and worked until 9. I closed with Julia and Sarah M. Sarah was a new shift supervisor from a Starbucks that closed down last week. I can not express to you how cute Sarah was. She is the most genuine and innocent person you will ever meet. The way she talked to us was adorable. She kept making sure that it was alright with us when she told us to do something. I said “you’re the manager.. you don’t need to apologize for asking me to hand you a pen” — but for her, she was in unfamiliar territory with new people. So I guess she played it safe. ha! But seriously though, she will be someone you pray to have on your shifts. #amazing #sofriendly
After my amazingly fun and quick shift. I found myself driving home and listening to the radio loudly, just like always. Windows open just enough to feel the fresh rainy air. The sun had just set in the West and street lamps were just coming on. I arrived home around 920 and brought all my bags/clothes in from the day and hauled them to my room. Unpacked them quickly and jumped in the shower. Said hi and good night to the parents and laid down on my bed with my phone talking with (who else but..) Kyle. By this time it was 10 and I wasn’t sure what to do…. Then I was talking to my friend from work, and I saw her blogging earlier in the day. I thought to myself that blogging would be a cool way to express my days and issues to the world (or so it feels like) without anyone I know actually being able to see it! lol. And so here I am. Listening to Youtubes #1 “relaxing music” video and typing my very first blog. I hope I wasn’t too boring. Tomorrow I will try and explain more about who I am and my current situations in life. But for now, its time for bed. It was a slice Medium. See you tomorrow.☺ — SJ
