Unfortunately it won’t since Netlify doesn’t have that built in! The netlify service is what enables the super easy github integration and deploy previews. But maybe one day they will have cloudflare support also!
I think it’s great that there are multiple tools! There might be overlap, and some pros and cons to both, and that’s awesome IMO. I don’t think apollo-codegen covers every single use case right now and I can’t wait to learn from what gql2ts does!
Engine is just one example of such a gateway. It does run on premises, but isn’t open source. I think it would be really awesome for more options to pop up in this space, and plenty of people are running GraphQL without such a component, or using regular HTTP infrastructure that isn’t GraphQL-specific.
You don’t need to do anything special to store the data! We have some examples in the docs about how to load more data into a list using that pagination scheme as well.
