Looking Back at the Whole Year 2015

Well, well, it’s time to sum up the results of the expiring year.
Some good news first: I graduated from high school and now I’m a student of Linguistics University of Nizhny Novgorod. What bliss! Now then, I’d like to write more specifically.
DISAPPOINTMENTS AND CHALLENGES:
- My speaking skills are not good enough. I awlays mumble something when I have to express my point.
- I have rarely been reading the tongue twisters and this is one of the reasons why I haven’t greately improved my pronunciation.
- I still have problems with doing everything on time.
- It’s not that simple to become a self-motivated person. But it’s worth trying anyway.
- All information I had in my laptop was accidentally erased a week ago and I won’t be able to recover it. I’m crying :c
HIGHLIGHTS AND DISCOVERIES:
- I went backpacking for the first time in my life and it was awesome!

- It’s much cooler to read books in the original. Sometimes I even forget they’re written in a foreign language (but only sometimes).
- Now I notice some mistakes in my old posts. But, of course, I don’t see all of them.
- I’ve changed my attitude to stress (I’ve learned that your attitude to it matters). It turned out that how you think and how you act change your experience of stress completely. That simple approach does help:
- I’ve understood that I should use new knowledge and facts I get as soon as possible, otherwise I will simply forget it with time.
- The Pomodoro Technique has become an essential part of my learning process. Now I hardly do something without it, because it really helps to stop losing time.
- Alex and I were volunteers for the Christmas market that took place on territory of an old brewery. It was both cold and fun.

It’s time to think about my expectations of the coming year!
