DAY 5 | #BringLife After MIX
Your student comes home today! There is going to be a lot of laundry, and plenty of stories. It’s been an exciting week full of new relationships and big decisions. Today’s devotion is all about how to prepare for those conversations.
The car ride home is a perfect time to hear about some of the new friends your student made, how amazing their small group leader is, and all the silly stuff that happened. Remember, they are exhausted, and you might not get all the spiritual stories out of them in the first 30 minutes. As their parent, you help them navigate all the time; you may have to help them articulate what they learned and the decisions they made. Luckily, you’ve been learning along with them!

As your student comes home from camp, tired and cranky, and summer comes to an end, it’s easy to let the decisions that were made fade away.
It’s easy to let the rhythm of what’s always been drown out the new rhythm God’s created in your lives. Take some time to be intentional to continue to walk in the new rhythm of life you’ve found.

PRAY HERE
Here’s a few things you can be praying for as we travel home:
1. Pray for your student to have a gracious and patient heart as they come off the bus and get into your car.
2. Pray that the Lord continues to grow the fire he has ignited in the heart of your student, so that Kingdom Work would not be for a week or the Summer, but for the rest of the year.
3. Pray that your student would have the words to communicate to you their story of how God moved this past week.
