All you would have to do to convince Esther Yu Hsi Lee that she’s completely wrong about her “analysis” of undocumented immigrants is overrun the building or neighborhood she lives in with undocumented immigrants. Make the place she calls home and retires to in the evening a haven for undocumented immigrants who come and go without documentation or any checks of who they are or why they are here or what business they are in and she’d change her tune. First would come the extra security on her doors and windows… then the complaints that she didn’t feel safe with the “business” being conducted in strange languages in the hall or streets. That’s about all it would take.
