Meet the Team — Ellie MacLeod (Digital Designer)
We are very happy to introduce you to Ellie — the newest member of our team. Since her start at the beginning of this year, Ellie’s already had the pleasure of working on a wide range of accounts; designing and researching for brand content, user experience design, and user interface design.
Originally from the UK, she studied as a product designer at Loughborough University before discovering a new passion for all things brand and digital. She believes that being a great designer is all about curiosity, an eagerness to keep learning, and the ability to sit back and observe.
We’ve asked her for a fun — and life changing — quote ;-) :
“I want to keep travelling around the world, learning everything I can about design, meeting people, and exploring new places. But my true goal in life is to get a dog. That’s when I know I’ve made it.”
Prior to joining Naam she worked around the UK, in a variety of roles at design companies including Seymourpowell, UCL, The Overworld, and a self-funded startup.
She recently decided it was time for a change and grabbed the opportunity to move to the Netherlands. At Naam she’s been given the chance to develop both her digital and human skills, driven by her will and passion to apply her knowledge of product design and use it here on several fun projects. Currently she is working on a complete web experience for a renowned Chicago based art collective and an innovative digital categorisation system for a German waste reduction company.
She’s also picked up some Dutch in the meantime and is planning on learning the language — which is quite the endeavour I can promise. One of her famous lines is “Het spijt me, ik eet één konijn” which is an incredibly helpful phrase in everyday life… Well, there you have it.
