All about IPM at IIM Indore

Admission Process

IIM Indore admits students on the basis of IPMAT INDORE and Personal interview.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria for IPM 2023–28:
1.Born after August 2003(5 year relaxation for SC/ST/PwD)
2.Pass 12th in 2021,2022 or 2023
3.Passed 10th with minimum 60%(55% for SC/ST/PwD)

Seat Intake

For 2022–27 batch seat intake was 150.
*seat intake is expected to rise to 240 from 2023 onwards subject to completion of campus augmentation.

IPMAT Pattern

IPMAT has three sections:
1.QA(Short Answers):-No negative marking + TITA(Type In The Answer)
2.QA(MCQ):-Negative Marking
3.VA:-Negative Marking in both MCQ & TITA questions

IIPMAT pattern is unpredictable but you can expect IPMAT 2023 to based on either of following patterns:

So this topic worries aspirants a lot, no. of applicants & how much competition for me.
Understand this number of applicants don’t change anything but we can get a fair bit idea from number of candidates that qualify(score positive raw score) i.e. attempters amongst them:

Number of qualifying candidates depend on two things: 1.-Difficulty level of exam 2.-No. of good exam takers.

Fees, scholarship and financing

Fees will be upward of 36.5Lakhs for entire programme.

There are 5 types of scholarships:
1.Institute provided need based: IIM Indore provides loan interest waiver as NBFA to economically weaker students.100% interest waiver below 4.5LPA family income & 50% below 9LPA.
2.Institute provided merit based: IIM Indore scholarship for top academic performer in year of 1.5Lakhs.
3.Category based income: Scholarships are provided to OBC/SC/ST/PwD/Religious minority candidates by various departments of G.o.I. same can be accessed at https://scholarships.gov.in/
4.State Scholarships: States like Madhya Pradesh provide scholarships to their domicile student check state gov portals of your respective states.
5.Private Scholarship: Eg-OPJEMS, Aditya Birla scholarship, IDFC First Bank MBA scholarship etc

Placement

In 2022 Average CTC at IIM Indore was 25LPA & Median CTC 24.09LPA
but there is some gap in placements of CAT/PGP students & IPM Students.
