Tips To Create Awesome Social Media Images

  1. Brand yourself. Be sure that your name, website name, logo, or however you represent your brand is on every image that you create. Always take advantage of opportunities to get more exposure for your brand.
  2. Think differently. Look for photos opportunities that aren’t like everyone else’s content. Be original. There are interesting photo opps all around us if we aren’t afraid to think a little differently.
  3. Use high-res photos in your image. Above all else, you want your images to look professional. If you have low resolution, crappy photos people will notice. You can’t polish a turd. Be sure to have good quality photos for your images.
  4. Make it pop! Use professional elements in your photos. Text holders, icons, banners, etc. are great ways to make a photo stand out.

Where do I find photos to include in my social media images? Here are a few options that I have used.

  • Graphicstock.com
  • FreeDigitalPhotos.net (must include a credit)
  • iStockphoto.com
  • Dreamstime.com

Creating social media images doesn’t have to be difficult. Hopefully these tips will help you create more professional and productive social media images.
