Green, round cabbage is a great side and can be cooked quickly, especially if you already have a pot of water going for pasta or anything else. Simply quarter or eighth the head of cabbage and boil for a few minutes until the green color brightens. Season and serve!
Another way I like to use cabbage is by shredding it and making a light slaw dressing with lime, a little honey, and the salad oil of your choice, along with some salt and pepper. It can be used as a crunchy bed for a filet of fish or grilled chicken.
