As I am writing this blog post, I have made well over $13k with one affiliate marketing program.
And the good thing is this is all passive that I have been making month after month.
If you are new to affiliate marketing, it’s promoting someone else’s product or service and getting paid for bringing in sales.
This is one of the best passive ideas that you can start without any upfront investment.
You are acting as a link between the creators and the customers. The product creators need customers and you solve their problem by giving them the right buyers.
In return, the product creator pays you a cut of each sale, which ranges from 10% to 75%.
I have been doing affiliate marketing since 2014 when I started my first blog. So, you can say I have a decent experience with this way of making money online thing.
The beauty of affiliate marketing is, that you don’t need to create a product and provide customer service. All you need is to become affiliated with a good product that solves a problem and share it with your audience.
Today, I will be sharing the step-by-step process that I followed to make over $13,400 by prompting one affiliate program. By the way, this total amount also includes revenue from my product sales on Creative Fabrica which can be 5% at most.
How I Earned Over $13,400 with One Affiliate Program
I have made well over $13K with the Creative Fabrica Affiliate Program. If you don’t know already Creative Fabrica is a great platform for getting premium quality graphics, fonts, crats, and more.
Currently, there are 8 million unique premium designs on this platform that users can have access to as instant downloads. It’s a subscription-based service and offers unlimited downloads per month for a low monthly price.
Creative Fabrica Affiliate Program
Creative Fabrica has an amazing affiliate program that pays you a 20% recurring commission as long as your referral continues to renew their subscription.
I first became an affiliate for Creative Fabrica back in Nov 2019. In the very beginning, my affiliate earnings were very low as I had little to no audience. It took me around 4 months or more to reach the withdrawal threshold which is $100.
My First Affiliate Payout From Creative Fabrica
Below is the screenshot of my earliest payout with the Creative Fabrica affiliate program and product sales. I also have a designer account and I was selling kdp interior templates as digital downloads.
As you can see in the screenshot, my first affiliate income from creative fabrica was $103. Similarly the 2nd and the third payouts were $125 & $102 respectively.
At this time I was getting paid after every 2nd or third month. It took me approximately one year to be able to receive an affiliate payout every single month.
Starting from November 2020 I have been making consistent monthly affiliate revenue with one affiliate program.
My Biggest Affiliate Payout From Creative Fabrica
To date, my biggest monthly affiliate payout from Creative Fabrica is $659. I received this in November 2022. To me, that is a pretty decent passive income check from a single platform.
As you can see in the image, I was consistently earning well over $500 every single month. I am very happy with these numbers as I was doing on the side.
At the moment, I am making well over $300 per month with the Creative Fabrica affiliate program. This included monthly subscriptions that my referrals are using and the individual product sales through my link.
Anyway, now let’s just talk about how I started and what promotion methods I have used so far.
How I Started with Creative Fabrica
Before joining their affiliate program, I subscribed to their all-access subscription which cost me around $21/month.
I purchased the subscription because I was publishing low-content books via Amazon KDP and I needed a resource for graphics, fonts, and kdp interiors.
As I started using fonts and graphics from Creative Fabrica and saw the value I decided to join their affiliate program and share this with my audience.
By the way, I had a YouTube channel where I published videos teaching low-content book publishing. I also created a Facebook group where I shared my videos and people started to join my group.
How I Promoted It
First of all, I used the resources from Creative Fabrica on my own self-publishing business and then shared them with my YouTube subscribers.
Secondly, I waited for the discounted deals to share them with my audience so that they could take advantage of them.
Creative Fabrica’s all-access subscription was normally priced at $29/Month but from time to time they ran a promo where they sold it between $9 and $19/Month.
I shared this with my audience and many people took advantage of it as this reduced price was for a lifetime.
Thirdly, I started a blog about low-content book publishing back in March 2021. I also promoted creative fabrica within my blog posts which converted well.
These are some of the strategies I have been using so far to promote the creative fabrica affiliate program.
This worked well for me as my audience was growing on three platforms i.e. my YouTube channel, my Facebook group, and my blog!
My 3-Step Process for Promoting an Affiliate Program
Just like Creative Fabrica, I successfully promoted a handful of other affiliate programs as well and will share them in a separate blog post.
Below I am going to share my 3-step process of choosing and promoting an affiliate offer to make passive income online. You can copy my strategies and start making money with affiliate marketing.
Step 1: Choosing The Right Affiliate Program
This is the most important step in affiliate marketing. You need to choose an affiliate program or offer that has something to do with your interests and skills. In other words, you should only choose products that you know about.
In my example, I had been publishing books on amazon kdp since early 2017 and I had a pretty decent knowledge of kdp interiors, book cover design, and self-publishing in general.
Therefore, I chose Creative Fabrica as it offers a lot of helpful resources to create kdp books.
On the other hand, if you start to promote a product that you know nothing about, it would become very hard to showcase its true potential.
You will face difficulties not only in creating content about the affiliate product but also in convincing others to give it a try.
Step 2: Use the Product Yourself
This is very crucial to test the product yourself and get results from it. This will boost your confidence in the product itself.
When you know for sure that any given product is useful and can add value to others, you can go ahead a start promoting it.
I followed this step while promoting creative fabrica and I do this with every product I promote.
I test all the tools and resources I promote on my blog and YouTube channel. This not only gives me a sense of confidence but also helps my audience see the actual potential and usefulness of the product.
Step 3: Put Your Audience First
I don’t promote any product, service, or tool with the mere intent of making money out of my audience but I do it when I think the product can help them out and add value to their lives.
Put differently, I always think about my audience first and when I do this the money comes on its own. This is perhaps the least-known secret about making money, the man who serves the most makes the most money!
So, always put your audience first and give them tools and resources that help them with the thing they are doing. This creates a win-win situation for both parties, you and your audience.
