These top 5 tourist places in North Bengal have been chosen by the popularity among the tourist. There are lots of popular tourist places in North Bengal but this top 5 tourist places' list has been made fully by
my own choice.

1. RONGO :-

Rongo, a small picturesque mountain village in the Dooars region of West Bengal is a perfect place to recline and relax. Situated on top of a mountain, It is a small picturesque village with very hospitable locals. It serves as the head quarter of Cinchona plantation in the Kalimpong subdivision. It is a significant place for plantation and growing of medicinal plants.

2. MONGPONG :-

It is known for its landscape of the Teesta river, mountains and forests, which attract a lot of tourists. Accommodation is available at the Mongpong Forest Rest House managed by the West Bengal Forest Development Corporation.

3. AHALDARA :-

Ahaldara is famous for its breathtaking view of sunrise and snow-capped Kanchenjunga peaks. On a clear sunny day the Gangtok, Kalimpong, Algara, Bagora, Tinchuley hills are visible from Ahaldara. It is located in Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary. It's a bird watcher's paradise.

4. LAMAHATTA :-

Major attractions in Lamahatta are the park and well manicured garden within the village. A trekking route has also been built that will lead tourists through the pine tree maze to two beautiful ponds locally called "jore pokhari" (twin ponds).

5. RAMDHURA :-

Ramdhura is bestowed with a clear and great view of the mountain range. It is also a base for visiting the very famous Silk Route that used to connect Kalimpong with Tibet half a century back. There are trekking options available in the nearby forests including a popular hike between Icchegaon and Sillerygaon.
