Totally agree! I think meeting costs should be a part of your daily schedule. My co-founder and I are building an app called TimeFerret, that shows you the cost of every meeting right next to the meeting details. We want to help people get more done by making meeting-scheduling a very deliberate action (rather than the arbitrary time-picking that it is now). So we’re making it easier to plan the day taking into account meeting cost, most productive time of the day and a number of other factors.
