Man made disaster, and Environmental abuse, where do we go…..we have only one Earth.
I Love photography, but some people in my country especially the wanna be socialmedia bloggers and fame seekers, enter The wildlife zone and chase These mighty magnificent creatures and cause panic, anxiety with the Sound of Trucks,and invade the space of animals provoke a shot, all great animal photographers of Leopards, Tigers and Lions have already waged war.
I had to share with you these details as I have personally seen trauma these animals go through, There is this massive reduction of some beautiful creatures of South Indian Western Ghats, malabar, beautiful karnataka, my reflections are a sense of pain…..at abuse meant on Animals in name of Creative photography.
Animals are slowly becoming extinct, if we don’t stop this massive intrusion of their privacy, I wish Adults look at animals like children in Awe at Magnificent creatures which they think in their books and cartoons they are exposed to. I have seen personally on my visits to Such Places in South India, in Karnataka, mysore, mandya……where touts and poachers also pretend as tour guides, and this attitude is associated with Age old dominance, and human superiority complex, the recent shooting of a lion by a dentist, was a crime…..so bad…..and, Lion is and still a magnificent thing. Having seen some of these in their regal habitat, I was awestruck with the complete insensitive nature of these bloggers who seem to be pretending to be showing off their skills pretending to be real professional photographers.
Social media poses and use of animals in it , we as humans have absolutely defied all Habitat rules and have taken Survival of Fittest to extreme torture of This planets, the extinct of snow leopard in himalayas, and the kind of expoiltation of Sea creatures and poisoning the whales, and the pollution of oil in sea ,creating a very scary scenario,
Humans have now started to consider each other as rivals, and intolerance and insentivity has made us ignore that This Earth was created by God where animals have also equal rights, if we keep on ignoring this and be selfish seeking materialistic pleasures only, who will take responsibility for the Rising Temperature, India is only a developing country, the developed Nations have abused Environment, and created so much damage and still cause damage.
But I think , we in India are now aware, and some cities have woken up to Green buildings and Environmental safe Cities, but sometimes we are feeling that Climate change effects will be first faced in India, and The melting of himalayas, and rise of sea levels and teutonic plate movements, are all real.
In such Days when all optimistic belief is threatened by attacks on Cities by terrorist again throws light on the fear psycosis bad people try to imprint in our minds,
How can just few people care ? Need collective conscience and perception to reality based on Emotion and heart based thinking,
We are all building weapons, increasing the race for weapons, but how many innovations and inventions has Technology contributed to Safe existence of children, women security in this Tech obsessed world, can all those Gadgets you so stand in que to buy in Cyber sales by Shops, assure you your Childrens right to safe world?
Sorry , but these are my views and I have nothing great but a few dreams in my eyes, and just a tax paying Civilian living one among many here who know we are wrong, yet we go on, Thanks for reading, till here.
