Zara’s parent company Inditex to sell all brands online, but… here’s an issue
They never use the same fit patterns
I kinda smiled when I read this piece of news about Inditex putting online all the products of all of its brands. Now, don’t get me wrong, it’s 2018, it’s strange they’re only doing this now.
However, there’s an issue when it comes to Inditex and that’s called “measures”. And I feel this first hand every time I need some new trousers. My success rate in finding ones that fit me is like playing the lottery. Well, not quite, it’s more like one in six or seven.
I’m a constant shopper at Zara and that’s because their quality is relatively decent and they’re also relatively cheap. For my needs, they’re more than alright. Plus, they’re designers seem to work like robots, because they launch a new collection every couple of months, their catalog always seem to please me (well, that part with clothes that are both hipsterish, but also keep a classy line).
But as I said, when it comes to fit patterns, they never use the same measures. I’m a 1.85m tall slim guy. When it comes to small numbers, it’s chaos. That’s why I never order anything online from Zara. And it’s not because I don’t trust their products will fit me, rather than the fact that I don’t want to deal with the pain of mailing them back.
In this regard, the Inditex brands are unreliable and unpredictable. I don’t need that.
