I can relate to this, Sole! I think if you feel this strongly about checking your accounts, I would delete all of them from my phone and only check them when I have a computer available. I did this with Facebook and it was great, I only check it once or twice a day and I really don’t miss it. In the case of apps you can’t delete like Snapchat or Whatsapp, try disabling the notifications and deleting people whose photos you don’t like in the case of Instagram. If you clean your feed and filter the people to see just the posts that you feel are okay or you actually want to see, these apps become much more pleasant to use… The main problem is that people kind of still don’t know how to use social networks and it’s mainly a mean to brag and get validation from others. And what’s worse is that we keep wanting to validate and compare our lives with those lived by other people, and that’s really fucked up. So that’s what I’m trying to do — deleting apps from my phone and only keeping friends in my social networks I actually care about and who don’t just post meaningless shit, haha. Also disabling the notifications is another thing that worked for me. I don’t want you to delete your Kaka_Fans account because I’m attached to it too, this is like our birthplace on Twitter!
