What I learned from people that I didn’t feel comfortable with

There have been so many times in which I am pretty sure I almost turned my eyeballs 180 degrees from rolling my eyes up. And it was all because of these expectations people have about socializing. It’s hard not to go with the flow when people tell you what you should be doing, but I am so glad I never did anything I didn’t want to. Especially Brazilians have this habit of constantly asking why you don’t want to do something, and you can’t just say you don’t feel like it or they are going to be offended and start a monologue starting with whatdoyoumeanyoudontfeellikeitareyouokaydontyouenjoymycompany and so on. I guess that’s one of the reasons why I identify with Germany so much, they just don’t care :)
