Subconscious Mind Training For Law Of Attraction Success — 1 Myth, 1 Formula
There is a statement you often hear law of attraction enthusiasts make that shines a light on a real problem. They say that the law of attraction isn’t working for them.
- They are using creative visualization
- They have created vision boards
- They are saying affirmations and thinking positive
Stopping there is like buying materials to build a house but not putting them together as a structure that becomes the house.
Most people completely ignore the glue that gives shape to their goals or makes their dreams come true.
Then they say that the law of attraction isn’t working for them. That is a myth, or at least a misunderstanding.
It is always working.
If you want to see what you are attracting, just start look around. What kind of friends do you have? Do you struggle with money or never seem to have enough? What issues do you have to deal with over and over in your relationships?
Pay attention to what you are thinking about most of the time, what images it brings to mind and how it makes you feel.
Your beliefs about yourself and life in general are at the root of the problem if there is one.
Triangle For Success
I came up with a simple formula years ago that makes it easy to see what is going on. To easily remember what to remember, I call it the Triangle For Success or TFS for think, feel, see.
HOW TO USE IT:
Common sense comes into play here.
- You start paying more attention to what you think, feel and see.
- Then plug that information into my formula.
- Then use common sense to see why life keeps showing up as it does year after year.
- Then change the variables that need to change.
In Other Words…
Sometimes it is as simple as recognizing the error of your ways and making a conscious effort to correct it.
- If you find that you use language that confirms there is a problem, change your language.
- If you spend most of your time seeing images or if you surround yourself with things that cause you to see the problem in your mind, change what you see.
- If something in your language or the images you see causes you to feel sad or any negative emotion, find something that causes you to feel the opposite. Practice feeling it as often as possible.
- If you have outdated beliefs that are holding you back, focus on what has been discovered scientifically.
It seems insane to me that more people do not know about and use the new discoveries to make their lives easier, healthier, and more fulfilling.
There are incredible discoveries about
- the brain
- the mind/body connection
- new neurological systems discovered in the human body
- new importance given to the vegas nerve
- the important effect of your electromagnetic energy now discovered to resonate from you
- your emission of photons of light
- the power of intention to change physical matter
- the discovery that your heart receives information and sends it to your brain
and I could go on and on.
Each of those is a topic on its own and too much for now, so I won’t go into details here. But they empower you and put the ball in your court. They are the reason my simple formula works.
Just keep it simple and use it top level to start. Then in some cases you have to go deeper, especially with feelings when you have trouble feeling what you desire to feel.
That only means that you have a belief, an association that steals your heart away and focuses it on something to stop you. Your heart and brain are designed to do that. Their job is to protect you and sometimes they put things behind a wall.
That is easy enough to solve when you need to but again, that is for another discussion. You don’t always have a block. Sometimes all you need is clarity and focus.
When you are passionate about something, notice that you think about it all the time. There is self-talk going on about it in your analytical brain. You also talk about it to others and use certain language that gives you clues.
You see something about it in your mind’s eye as an image or scene and those things give you a feeling. Your right brain is active as you imagine all kinds of things about it.
What you think about, see about it and feel about it creates a momentum of energy that has a real impact on your life. Do enough of it with laser beam focus and those things become a self-fulfilling prophesy, both for what you desire and what you fear.
Your heart and both sides of your brain are always involved. That is important because now we know that they broadcast a signal out from your body. Your vibrational signal is as relevant as the signal sent from a TV station.
That signal magically becomes a movie you watch on your TV. Your signal magically attracts more similar circumstances with similar vibrations into your life to become life as you know it.
Just like building materials gathered together don’t become a house on their own, your goals need to be glued together for a foundational structure to build on too.
The glue is the actual feeling, the sensation you experience when you are saying affirmations and visualizing. That is what brings things together. Then, what you are creating in your imagination and fueling with your energy can manifest as something new.
Passion, hunger, expectation must be there and what must not be there is doubt, disbelief and fear that it won’t happen.
When you find that the feeling aspect isn’t coming easily, that is when you have to focus on finding the cause of the feeling you are experiencing. Then it can be dissipated, broken up, deflated, so it disappears into oblivion with techniques that melt it away.
If you want to do-it-yourself, you start looking for clues. You pay attention and see what is revealed when you create your triangle soup from your TFS. You look for your underlying or subconscious beliefs that are bubbling away.
You create an intention to find the information that has been hiding from you. Sometimes it is hiding in plain sight.
Then pay attention to thoughts that come to you while doing mundane tasks like washing dishes or driving someplace that is very familiar and monotonous.
Many times a memory will pop in consciously that has been in your subconscious, flying below your radar.
Where do subconscious beliefs come from?
Your parents, teachers, babysitters, church leaders, and anyone who was an influential person in your young life, especially up to the age of about 6 years old. Your brain is in an almost hypnotic state when you are really young. It absorbs information readily and accepts it as the truth.
Then as you get older, all of that information comes into play and influences your behavior. The more experiences you have that support your beliefs, the more your beliefs strengthen. The more your beliefs strengthen, the more experiences you have that support those beliefs.
We are nothing more than the accumulation of our
that have been embedded into the brain from
- emotional experiences and especially traumas
- programming from information repeatedly fed to the brain
I heard Dr. Joe Dispenza say something once that was simple yet profound. He said,
“Thinking equals what you already know.”
When thoughts come to your mind, it is based on something from your past. We know that the brain is designed to go back into your memory bank. It looks for information that indicates whether or not there is danger present. If it thinks there is a chance, it will cause you to feel fear.
When you feel fear as you visualize your goal, that energy or vibration is associated with what you have in mind.
Dr. Rick Hanson is quoted as saying,
“In effect, the brain is like Velcro for negative experiences, but Teflon for positive ones.”
Your positive thoughts easily slip away but the negative ones are like burrs that stick with you.
That is why it takes effort to change the things that have become the habits and patterns of your life.
The #1 thing most people want is more money. They don’t want to have to struggle with bills and they do want the lifestyle they dream of.
But when they daydream about what they desire, they do it as if it is something out there in another life. It feels distant.
And when they think about what they struggle with, they do that as if it is here, very close, in the world they live in. They make it seem real, because it is real to them. They are dealing with it right now.
The images that come to mind do not include feelings of freedom and happiness. The strongest emotions felt come when thinking of struggle.
If you were on a teeter totter, fear and struggle would win out.
Dr. Bruce Lipton, cellular biologist and best selling author of many books on the subject has shown how important beliefs and perception are. They are a force that must be acknowledged and dealt with in order to create change. Dr. Lipton says,
“Our thoughts are mainly controlled by our subconscious, which is largely formed before the age of 6, and you cannot change the subconscious mind by just thinking about it. That’s why the power of positive thinking will not work for most people.”
You have to “out-feel,” or put more passion into what you are creating than what you’re living now. Tricky, but it can be done when you practice it and use techniques instead of willpower.
Use techniques that lower stress. Then think of where you are going from that state of mind and body. Embed your new life into your subconscious mind and it will create a path that leads you there.
But remember, you may not even have subconscious blocks.
The place to start is at square 1. Keep it simple, create your success triangle and see if you can stay focused on it.
Next pay attention. Work on reducing the time spent energizing what you don’t want as you go through your day.
Focus on breathing more life and energy into the scene you want to step into.
It’s pretty simple really. So simple that most people overstep it. They are busily looking out there for something more complicated that seems like it should work better. Been there, done that, so I get it.
But for anyone ready for it, this is something simple that really works.
