The know how reading of the „how to” articles
There are millions of articles addressing our daily problems (how to become more efficient, how to be a better listener, etc.) Some of these are pretty useful, others are merely wasting their readers time. Most of these not so helpful articles have a stereotypical structure of about 10 to 20 steps that you have to follow in order to become better in a certain area of activity, without any genuine inspiration.
After reading a handful of pieces on different themes, I have reached the conclusion that, at a first glance the articles that include a short clip or other diagrams are by far both more memorable and efficient. The reason is simple. We are more attracted to images and animations rather than to a series of phrases.
Another easy way to spot a good article is by searching for sound examples. These, indeed, give you an insight on how the information written there, really works.
Just to name a few of some of my favorite sites of the how to articles, I would recommend: https://www.mindtools.com/ and http://www.exforsys.com.
