The Forest Minister Mr Sudhir Mungantiwar has decided to continue the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Project, that has been partially active during the rainy season of 2015.

Several tourists have placed a collective demand before the authorities to keep this project operative during the rainy season. In line with this demand, the Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife)-Nagpur has presented the proposal to keep the tiger Project partially operative and allow tourists there during the rainy season. Even last year, the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Project was partially operative. Hence, Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife)-Nagpur has said that the concerned department has no objection in keeping this tiger project partially active during the Monsoon season. Forest Minister Mr Sudhir Mungantiwar has decided to sanction this proposal in order to offer tourism options to the tourists who like to travel during the monsoon. Accordingly, the decision to allow the said tiger project to be partially active has been passed. Due to this, tourists will be able to enjoy Tiger project tourism to some extent in this rainy season.
