On Thursday 2nd of July, UAE Developer Advocate Masa Abushamleh and I hosted an OpenShift Pipelines workshop, focusing on introducing the topic to the audience.
There were around 30 attendees at the webinar, many of them were developers and had prior experience with microservices and DevOps.
Masa started the webinar by welcoming the attendees and introducing Tech@Home series. Then, she did a review of containers and microservices and explained in details about DevOps, Cloud-native DevOps, and their benefits, then she introduced OpenShift Pipelines and its features.
In the second half of the webinar, I started with explaining tekton pipelines and…
Last Month, from November 23–25, 2018 I had the opportunity to attend Junction which is known to be Europe’s Biggest Hackathon (More than 1300 participants from 110 different Countries). Being a hackathon nerd, Junction had been on my bucket list for quite a long time and when I was finally there, I loved every minute of it! Honestly speaking I felt almost all the feeling a human being can feel (excited, nervous, tired, rushed, motivated, passionate, enlightened and many more).
My Journey started way back in August when I applied to participate in the hackathon (I still remember the day…
The process of model management and deployment starts with pushing the project assets (trained models, scripts etc.) to a Git repository hosting services such as GitHub/Gitlab. Both the services are compatible with the platform IBM Cloud Private for Data.
Doing this is fairly simple through once you have integrated and configured the Git repository hosting service in the cluster where the platform is already deployed.
Steps to push the project assets to Git repository hosting services: -
Click on the git icon and select Commit and Push through the drop-down menu.
A Modal window will appear, specify a commit message…
Have you heard of NativeScript?
If no, then you are the right place.
On May 2nd, Developer Experience team conducted a meetup on building Android and iOS application with NativeScript. I kicked off the session by introducing NativeScript and why should be it your first choice for building native hybrid applications. …
Prerna kicked off the webinar by going over what is blockchain, the different type of blockchain, how blockchain stores data, what is smart contract and consensus algorithm. Then she went on to explain POW (Proof-Of-Work), POS (Proof-Of-Stake) and BFT (Byzantine fault tolerance)consensus algorithms.
She then explained how these algorithm governs the working of a blockchain network. She also explained the problems faced by Blockchain developer i.e issue with general blockchain design.
Recently I was going through a post on Reddit that “How to develop an android application using deep learning”. To be honest the post really didn’t make sense to me as it is too vague. But what was interesting to see is, the post was trending and many people wanted to understand the steps how we can develop a cool android application with neural networks and this became my motivation to write this post. So in this post, I will guide you step by step how to execute a neural network on Android.
STEP ONE:- DEVELOPING A NEURAL NETWORK
When you think about it, the world is crammed with great products that we take for granted, but that were once non-existent until they were dreamed up by a budding entrepreneur. From the postage stamp to the jet engine, and the cheeseburger to the microchip, radical inventions by brilliant minds have changed the way we live our lives and shape our future. In recognition of these people, Dtec (Dubai Technology Entrepreneur Center) organized a two-day event know as Entrepreneur Day 2017 on 15th November that gathers the best and brightest from the MENA startup scene to Dtec.
When we hear…
UAE Developer Experience Team love hackathons. I think Developing and helping people to develop is our motto.
I must say, since the day I joined, this past week has been the most hectic one, but to be honest, it was the most exciting and adventurous one as well. We had to go through a series of workshop regarding our role at IBM and then we had the best thing (according to me) BITS Pilani Hackathon.
This hackathon was very special to me as my very own university, BITS Pilani, was organizing it and this is the first hackathon in which I…
Cloud Application Developer @IBM during the day — Hacker during the night. Hackathons are bae. Have big dreams and expensive taste.
