1 day, 24 hours, 1440 minutes, 86400 seconds.
Home, workplaces, in the car and on yourself. There’s a clock. Why are we so obsessed with knowing what time it is? We have so many hours in a day, once they’re gone, there is no way to get them back..
“Either you run the day or the day runs you.”
We schedule and plan according to the clock. From the moment we open our eyes right to the moment we close our eyes at night. We make plans, we calculate travel time, meeting time and mealtime. We even try to schedule some down time and vacation time. Ironic isn’t it?
Time is our most valuable commodity. Time is more than productivity. Time can’t be exchange for money and I think it is absolutely vital that we fully comprehend that.
“Time is the Essence of Life”
There’s plenty of things we can get by without, live for a week without food and days without water. But we cannot live for a second without time. Rich or poor, we’re given the same amount of time everyday. No amount of influence or money can change the fact that when our time is up, we are done.
Has priorities.. Relationships are built from time. Who we spent with, who we NEED to spent our precious time with before they are gone. Every experience represents a certain amount of time.
It takes time knowing someone, it takes time to learn another human being. Its takes time to be acquainted with them. There isn’t really a shortcut.
Our humanity is all about how we spend our time. We all just have to ask ourselves is it worth the time? Give it some more time? Or not at all?
“ Nobody is too busy, its just a matter of priorities “
Has its positive and negative effects. Is time really beneficial to our quality of life? Or does it have an adverse effect?
We have all at some point in our lives we start to wonder if the clock is our friend. Even though most of the time it doesn’t seem that way..
We earn a living through time. Day in, day out, working just to support out worldly life on earth. But does being financially successful lead to absolute happiness?
We always have a clichè saying of “Money can’t buy happiness” but does that mean having no money gurantees absolute happiness when time is all you got? Ponder..
We all have natural rhythms and cycles. It’s healthy to allow room in our lives for a more casual view of time.
Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life. Its true.
From my personal experience, this really changes how I spent my time between work and play. This give me a boost of positivity everyday. The mind will not be cluttered and managing time is alot easier..
“ Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted”
Ultimately, sometimes you have to give time, time. A well balanced simple life is all that matters. Take your time.
Wake up when you feel like it, eat when you’re hungry. Let your day unfold at its own pace. Spend extra time in meaningful conversations. Avoid crowding your day with activities. Feel the rhythm of life. Live it.
