Punching Down

I was just reminding a friend that it’s very insecure people who “punch down”.

She was talking about watching animals attack and eat other animals and I was reminding her that animals lower than humans do it to eat and humans do it for sport.

The rich often do it to the poor. Men do it to women. The religious often do it to the Atheists and parents sometimes even do it to their children.

I am surprised every time people question why a young woman would stay with an abusive man. Where in the world, would a woman have learned that it’s a good idea to stay…
