Childfree Is A Legitimate Choice
The Nib

I knew, 100%, by the time I was in junior school that I would never have children. It’s just not in my DNA. In my late 40s now and not for one single moment have I ever felt any different. My parents never questioned my decision and even backed my corner when people said to them, “Aw, she’ll come round”. Personally, I have never experienced any negativity towards my decision — in fact, I suspect that, on occasion, some of my friends are a tad jealous lol. I met a lovely guy 17 years ago who felt exactly the same way and we’re still the (big) kids in our relationship. Forever young :-)
