It’s practically impossible not to fail at some point in life. And in the world of business, it’s definitely not uncommon to fail more than once before making it big. In this article, we’ll be taking you on the journey of Elon Musk, from his many failures to his ultimate success as the founder of Tesla and SpaceX. We hope that after reading this story you’ll have some newfound confidence about overcoming your own obstacles and achieving your goals, no matter how insurmountable they may seem right now!

  1. Young Elon wanted to change the world:

As a boy, Elon Musk wanted nothing more than to get rich. To do so, he needed the power and resources of a wealthy company or government. Luckily for him, he had both. By the time he was 16 years old, he had received 150 million dollars from his father’s company in one day — enough money that he would never have to work again.

But at the same time, his parents had divorced and no longer communicated with each other. He found himself lonely with few friends. So when he started college at age 17, it wasn’t because he wanted an education but because it gave him something to do on weekends. He said I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life in a speech about entrepreneurship and innovation.

2. The Tesla Roadster: The Start of a Career:

The first product Elon worked on was the Tesla Roadster, and it made an enormous impact in an industry that had never before seen a serious competitor. As a pioneer in electric cars, the Tesla Roadster helped to demonstrate that these vehicles could be more than just glorified golf carts.

It opened up the market for this type of vehicle. To make the production process efficient, he outsourced parts from other countries and built his lithium-ion battery factory near Reno, Nevada. He’s also working with Panasonic to help provide batteries for its cars. For his efforts as CEO of Tesla Motors, he’s been named Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young five times (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2013).

3. Tesla Motors, SpaceX, and SolarCity:

Elon Musk is a man with a vision. He’s invested in and/or started companies like Tesla Motors, SpaceX, and SolarCity. And despite repeated failures along the way, he hasn’t lost his motivation or focus. One of the most famous examples is when he told an interviewer that Failure is an option here. If you are not trying things that may or may not work, you are not being innovative enough. That was the case for Tesla Motors when they went through bankruptcy back in 2010. It was also true for SpaceX which had five rocket launches before it made its first successful one.

However, after many years of trial and error, Elon Musk succeeded by launching Falcon 1 on September 28th, 2008. Now he has his sights set on Mars — and we can only hope that his latest ventures will be just as successful as those before them.

4. Key Takeaways:

Elson was never discouraged by his failures, instead, he looked at them as lessons learned and opportunities for growth. He always saw the positive in his mistakes and worked hard to improve and show himself how to deal with future setbacks. After his success with PayPal, Elon started SpaceX to help humans colonize Mars and make life more sustainable on Earth. There were many ups and downs but now SpaceX is valued at $27 billion dollars!
