Which path should you go for when it comes to your career, Passion Or Money?

Some of the most well known gurus will tell you to follow your passion while some of them will try to convince you to be more practical when deciding your career path.

This is as ongoing debate. while you are confused because you don’t know which path will be better for you.

I will be digging deep into these different approaches and tell you their advantages and disadvantages. Choosing your career is always your decision. This article will tell you how to make decisions with logic and emotions simultaneously for your better understandment, which will create a best version of yourself.

Pros of Following Your Passion:

  • You can do what you love
  • Following your dreams can make you more confident
  • You will attract like minded poeple
  • Following your passion will prevent you from having regrets

Cons of Following Your Passion

  • You may earn less
  • You may lose some friends
  • A threat to well being
  • Reinforces The culture of Overwork
  • It takes a lot of risk

The Balance

Keeping the balance between emotion and logic is very important to live a happy life without any regrets. Every decision we make in our lives is either based on logic or emotion.

There are some big decisions in which you have to think logically as well as emotionally. Some biggest decisions in life requires you to follow your emotions more than logic like choosing your spouse. Although, you should not be choosing your partners completely on your emotions. Your Spouse’s background, financial status, family expectations and many other important things should also be taken into consideration before marrying them. it’s like 80% emotion and 20% logic.

Same goes for your career, there is a specific balance you need to find to get the best outcome and have a succesful career. If you want to have a succesful career you should be focused towards logical side more than emotional.

Conclusion:

The key is to find something that you are good at which also brings you money and growth in the future. There is also an another way, Turn things you are passionate into hobbies which you can still enjoy without being in pressure of thinking like its a job. In this way, you will always love what you are doing at. Keep your passion and profession seperated.
