As a champion

When I heard the news of Boxer Muhammad Ali’s demise, one of his quotes came to mind. It was — “Don’t quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion”.

I had stumbled upon this quote on Pinterest a couple of months or years go. It had a strange kind of impact on me. A strong sort of impact. Like it was okay to suffer if it was serving a purpose.

The lines would come back to my mind during a lot of real-life situations. Today, it surfaced again. And like always, it left a deep impression.
