V S Naipaul

For the first time, I heard Sir Naipual speaking. It was his speech during the Nobel Banquet. His speech was effortless. So melodious to hear; totally opposite of a baritone voice. Despite being British for all his life, Sir Naipaul seems to have an Indian singsong style. Another trait that I really liked about Sir Naipual was that his speech was not the inspiring type that these famous personalities, especially writers who have authored serious stories, deliver. His speech was short and cute. With no high and lofty principles for the listeners. (Here is the link to those who may want to listen him speak https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MAQswLNMW-I

Sir, this is the first time I am reading your book and I have yet to reach the page where the pace will pick up. But after hearing you speak, you have become one of my favorite orators.
