So, you have decided to give your support by assisting the Children Home Nepal.

Sharing your basic skill to vulnerable children can be one of the best way to give back to the community. Through administrating and contributing my time in Children Home Nepal, I have been able to get lots of experience with charity work and children habits. I get many inquiries from gap years students asking if they can volunteer in our charity and assist children in day to day activities. Many students wants to give their support but they are not sure where to start and what to do with children.

Before you start your application process to volunteer in the “Children Home Nepal”, ask yourself this are good with children? If you are surrounded by 1–2 children in your home then it might not be hard to adapt living with 11 children in Children’s home. On your application for email, please be sure you have attached your motivation letter, Resume/CV, and a copy of your passport. If possible we will greatly appreciate your police clearance report. As your application process start, you will be able to ask any questions you might have to ensure you have the best experience possible. You will also need to attach your flight information so our team can schedule your airport pickup.

After you arrival in Nepal, your accommodation and meals will be provided in an apartment near the children home. The apartment is setup for volunteers stay in an open work space. Every morning and evening for around 4–5 hours volunteers are given the opportunity to assist the children with education, teaching basic computer and teaching other creative skill.
