Acton Neighbourhood Festival

At Hikayetna, we’re thrilled to launch a new monthly series designed to bring our community together regularly. The Acton Neighbourhood Festival celebrates local talent and fosters a sense of togetherness. We believe these monthly events will be crucial in strengthening our community cohesion, and providing a platform for artistic expression and cultural exchange.

The Acton Neighbourhood Festival brings the local community together with an exciting blend of poetry nights, live music, storytelling, and food, offering evenings filled with entertainment and cultural experiences.

The festival will feature local poets, musicians, and storytellers every month, creating a platform for artistic expression and community engagement. The inaugural event on August 9th will present a poetry night, showcasing readings from emerging and established poets. Following this, the second event, a night of music will spotlight live music performances by local bands and solo artists, taking place on 6th September at the ActOne Cinema.

The third evening will delve into food storytelling, enchanting audiences with narratives that range from traditional folk tales to modern stories, ensuring a captivating experience for attendees of all ages.

Supported by Ealing Council, the Acton Neighbourhood Festival aims to celebrate and strengthen the community through the promotion of local talent and culture.
