Elon Musk and Tony Robbins talk a lot about questions. And although Musk is the more insightful, Tony is the more quotable. Hence his maxim- ‘the quality of your life is determined by the quality of your questions’.

When you plan your day, you’re asking yourself one basic but fundamental question- ‘what should I do with my day’. This is the question that, more than any other, determines the quality of your life.

If results=Consistent Behaviour X Time. And this question determines behaviour- then how you phrase this question to yourself is crucial.

If you ask those same questions: who do I need to call, who do I need to email, what other minutia can I busy myself with- you will get no where.

The same old boring questions, will produce the same old boring results- and you- as a consequence- will have a seriously boring life.

Better t0 ask:

What small step will get me closer to where I really want to be?

What am I avoiding, that I really shouldn’t?

What pressing questions haven’t I answered?

What promising projects need my attention?

What will move me forward?

What could have a dramatically positive impact on my life, and what’s the first step I can take toward making it?
