Good piece, and good to know there are still a few (rare?) gamblers out there that will make a bet — not just on business metrics — but on a calculated gut feel with idea stage startups. And that gut feel being somewhat based on the ability of the gambler to craftily sift through the right team(s) that can not only sell & paint a good story, but are also believing and living it — at the right time.
