How to achieve your GOAL
#Just start

This week Amal academy gave us this challenge of doing or achieving something that we keep on thinking but wasn't being able to even start it. So i took this challenge and still working on it but what i am going to share here is my experience so far. What difficulties i faced during this process and what improvements i got at the same time.

I always wanted to be productive and organized in life. In this regard i choose some tasks for example meditation, sleep and developing a habit of reading. These were some important tasks that i wanted to make my habit in life but i always ended up by doing nothing. So this time when Amal gave this challenge to me, it was quite easier for me to accept this challenge because Amal had already given me some valuable tips related to my goals.

So first i started with guided meditation. Why i was so eager to start meditation because i have heard so many benefits of it from different people and i always wanted to do it but as always i could only think about it. I started from guided meditation by installing an app. I used guided meditation for stress relief and getting better sleep. I followed all the instructions given in the app and i could feel a positive change in my self already. There was a requirement to do the meditation in morning and some time in night for getting the required results. For me this was the most difficult part to do because i was not an early riser and my sleep was already imbalanced and disturbed so i face a lot of difficulty in the beginning. But later on i was able to overcome this.

While developing the habit of doing meditation i also worked on developing a habit of reading. Because in student life i was so fond of reading different books to get more and more knowledge. But due with the passage of time and hustling life i could not remain consistent. So i searched for different techniques to develop this habit again on internet. There were so many useful techniques but what stood out most for me was when in a video of Jim Kwik he said that a CEO read a book in a week and to develop this habit try to spend 25–30 minutes in reading. And i did the same, i spent half an hour for reading and i was being able to complete that book within four days which i started reading last year.

So next i worked on my sleep but to be honest i did not have to put a lot of effort this time because while developing the other two habits this happened naturally that i was being able to get to bed earlier at night and i was awake earlier for the meditation. And i choose half an hour for reading just before my bed time.
Well i did this whole thing for almost a week and the results were mind blowing i could feel myself more happier, healthier and active by doing these all things and i will be doing it in future as well.
