Working hard, TEN minutes at a time
Ten minutes is all you need. It took ten minutes to spray paint this wall. Dig the colors of it too.
In ten minutes you can have a meaningful conversation with someone you care about. In ten minutes you can write in your journal. In less than ten minutes you can do something for someone that helps them out. Show your nice side. In less than ten minutes you can make an incredible cup of coffee for you and someone to have a connection with.
Ten minutes. It is longer than you think but yet small enough to have no excuse for not doing something. For just ten minutes a day you can practice the guitar and get pretty good at a few songs after a few months. In ten minutes you can run a mile or more. You can work up a good sweat in ten minutes
For ten minutes a day you can check in with the people you lead and help them. Make sure they know the vision and the goals and just offer support. For ten minutes per day you can check in with your clients. Offer something to them and move on. For ten minutes per day you can connect with your boss and make him or her know that you got whatever work it is they expect of you. Ten minutes…
Ten minutes per day you should check in with your spouse or loved ones. Sounds like a no — brainer but with kids, careers, life — those checkpoints diminish.
What are you doing with your ten minutes? Checking Facebook? Come on man.
In ten minutes you can chip away at your work. Ten minutes per day is 70 minutes per week. What if you did it for 20 minutes per day? You could double your work time. What about an hour per day? Ten minutes. Do something for ten minutes and see what happens over months and years.
In ten minutes you can do something that will change your life now or set you up to change your life forever.
Ten minutes, tick tock, tick tock. Ten minutes.
