We’re Gen X, dear. Sandwiched in between the Me Generation, and the What About Me Millennials. We got the worst of everything. Born in the 70s, we weren’t in seatbelts when we were infants, let alone some kind of car seat. We were parented in the norms of the mid-20th century, which means you don’t whine about anything, but we were first hit by changing the financial conditions that have made Millennials professional victims. And we are not old, something you only realize when you turn 35. Actually, the middle years are pretty amazing. Great wisdom, maturity, patience and skills come to fruition in these years, without the health concerns of old age.
