The Truth About My Experience on The Platform

Sleep is an essential aspect of our lives that should never be underestimated.

Unfortunately, in today’s fast-paced and demanding world, many people tend to sacrifice their precious hours of sleep-in order to meet deadlines or fulfill social commitments.

I am one of those people!

I been fucking losing sleep from working!

ON MEDIUM

Let me say this! Consequences of consistently losing sleep can be detrimental to both our physical and mental health. Lack of sleep can weaken the immune system, leaving us more vulnerable to illness and infection.

TO BE HONEST!

I DIDNT GIVE A FUCK!

I was so locked in on writing great content on a great platform!

When you're passionate about creating and learning the art of words. You become obsessed! But, with that comes hell of side of effect!

  • Sleep deprivation
  • Mood swings
  • Irritability,
  • Overall decreased quality of life

Therefore, it is crucial to prioritize sleep and make it a priority in our daily routine to ensure we maintain optimal health and well-being.

Me on the other hand thrive off chick fil a, milk and cookies, and once and awhile some shrimp weed, while writing content on the laptop.

Not only I'm deprived but him high! Just call it Hi deprived. Now its not just writing alone that make me feel so crazed.

I actually think its writing on the medium platform that makes me loopy.

Before, I wasnt as active as a writer. Now I been more active as ever. Especially eating chick fil a and getting a sugar rush from milk and cookies while HI deprived.

Instead of Medium being an oasis for me. It became more like a prion disguised as a sanctuary.

All it took was one viral article that I wrote, and I was hooked!!!

Medium has undoubtedly revolutionized the way we connect and share information.

Now you may disagree, it's just my opinion. So please don't get your panties up in a bunch.

If you know how to put your panties in a bunch, well good for you. I struggle to put my underwear in the laundry basket, let alone putting it in a bunch.

But it has also created a virtual prison that many of us willingly enter each day.

Just like a prison, medium can be confining and restrictive. It locks us into a cycle of comparison, where we constantly measure our lives against the seemingly perfect lives of others.

It pressures us to showcase only the highlights, creating a façade that masks the struggles and imperfections we all face.

ONCE AGAIN, MY Opinion

  • Moreover, can be addictive, trapping us in a never-ending loop of scrolling and seeking validation through claps and comments.
  • It isolates us from genuine human interactions, replacing meaningful conversations with superficial online exchanges.

Just as prisoners are confined by physical walls, we are confined by the virtual walls of algorithms that dictate what we see and who we interact with.

While medium dose presents opportunities for connection and self-expression, it is crucial to recognize the potential downsides and actively seek a healthy balance to avoid falling into the grasp of this digital prison.
