LGBTQ+ Creatives in the Gaming Industry
Special thank to Joseph Carriker, Steve Kenson, and everyone else that helped spread the word on this project. This list does not include everyone in the industry that is LGBTQ+ but we’re trying to collect as many people as possible who would like to be included publicly.
Mission Statement: Our goal for this list is simple: we don’t know everyone in the industry. No one we know does. But we do each know some folks, who also know others. So, we’ve put this together as a resource for making names known, both to buyers who want to spend money on queer games, and to projects who want to hire queer talent. If your name isn’t on here, it’s not a slight — the only names on here are the names of folks who have asked to be here. We don’t accept anyone’s name from anyone else, so if you’d like to be here, hit up the form and let us know! One of us will be in quick touch just to verify that it’s you asking, and then you’ll be on the next update. Thanks!
If you are not on the list yet or some information is incorrect, please fill out our Google Form here and we will update once a month. We will not be listing any creators without their permission.
If you have commentary about who is on the list, please direct your comments to Joseph on Twitter at @oakthrone.
Creators looking to hire: I highly suggest you digest the list fully and click every link the creators below have made available.
Yes. I know the list is long. But, they’re all worth the look, I promise. Some people are just starting out and some have been in the industry for years. I hope you find many that fit your projects.
If you’re just stumbling into this post, consider checking out some of these games for purchase or supporting these creators on their Patreons or even give them support on their social media.
