Frequent breaks usually keep your mind fresh, polish and focused. This system is very easy to use and one can the outcome very quickly: “You will probably begin to notice a difference in your work or study process within a day or two. True mastery of this technique takes from seven to twenty days of constant use.”

If you have a large and varied to-do list, using the Pomodoro Technique can help you crank through projects faster by forcing you to adhere to strict timing. Watching the timer wind down can spur you to wrap up your current task more quickly, and spreading a task over two or three pomodoros can keep you from getting frustrated. The constant timing of your activities makes you more accountable for your tasks, and minimizes the time you spend procrastinating. You’ll grow to “respect the tomato”, and that can help you to better handle your workload.

I had had to learn and had to prepare my exam a day before it. I counted pages, set timer and told myself that I will work via using pauses. I spent 25 to 30 minutes while preparing the exam and then took breaks of almost 3 to 5 minutes to refresh my mind. I did this for the whole day and I was fully prepared and was far away from stress. I hate to do study in library because one can’t go there until he has to study for a long period of time and it looks awkward if you’ll take breaks and pauses and leave and enter in library.

I remember I got highest marks in my class but it doesn't mean I'm tending to say, that one can study one day before exam and can do well. It counts on how fast you learn, how good a reader you are and how much course you have.
