Spotify, in recent times, has been a pain for free tier users. It doesn’t even let them play the next song. For paid users, same songs are getting recommended again and again.

YouTube Music is turning out to be a game changer for hardcore and casual listeners.

Here’s how you can transfer your playlists to YouTube Music

Tool used: Playlist Buddy

1. Go to Playlist Buddy’s website

Simply go to this website.

2. Login to your Spotify account

Sign in to the Spotify account where the playlist is located.

3. Accept the conditions of Spotify

Click on “Agree” to accept the conditions and move forward.

4. Playlist page will open

Upon successful sign in on Spotify, you will land on the page on Playlist Buddy where all your playlists will be stored and visible to you.

On the left, there are all the available playlists and on the centre, there’s the currently selected playlist

5. Select the playlist you want to transfer to YouTube Music

To showcase, I will select the “Workout” playlist.

Note: There is a limit of 250 songs on a playlist to be transfered to YouTube Music with Playlist Buddy

6. Sign in to YouTube

Once the required playlist is selected, click on “Sign in YouTube” button to login to your YouTube account.

7. Grant access to Playlist Buddy

To proceed further, after Spotify, you will have to accept conditions of Playlist Buddy so that it could access your YouTube account.

8. Convert playlist

Once signed in on YouTube, you will come back to the playlist page on Playlist Buddy. Just click “Convert Playlist” to start the transfer of your playlist to YT Music.

9. Conversion will start

Once clicked on the “Convert Playlist” button, that specific playlist will start transferring the songs to YouTube Music.

In my case, the playlist is “Workout”.

10. Go to YouTube Music

Upon 100% conversion, you can go to YouTube to verify the playlist is there.

But I will suggest you to go and check it on YT Music, after all, you will be using YT Music often, right?

Go to YouTube Music: https://music.youtube.com/

In the above image, you can see that on the left, “Workout” playlist is there!

11. Play the Playlist and enjoy!

Here, I have opened the “Workout” playlist.

Okay, time for some workout now, Bye!

Let me know if this works! (This will surely work though — :))
