THE BEGINNING OF SOMETHING NEW
So I Started a Blog on WordPress in 2024…
The start of sumansourabh.in with Hostinger, let’s see how it goes…
“YouTubers” say you can make $1000/month by blogging. Well, that’s nothing because according to other “YouTubers”, you can print $10,000/month with a blog.
On the other hand, actual bloggers say,
“It takes time. Infact if you are unlucky, you may never make any real money with blogging.”
Harsh, isn't it?
There’s no doubt that blogging is a highly competitive field, just like every other field nowadays. But I want to try this. I want to churn out long form articles that could help people in some way or another.
Hence, I started sumansourabh.in
But what about the money?
It is true that it must feel great to earn in USD while sitting thousands of kilometers away in India because the money gets multiplied by 83.39 INR.
But who could guarantee earning money with blogging?
It is clear that no one knows if I will be able to make a dime with blogging, but I do know that I will be able to help those who will spend their time reading my blog posts in a quest to find a solution to their problems.
Won’t that be a great feeling?
In any case, I am about to find out if “blogging is really dead” or not.
That’s okay, but what are the stats so far?
I started my blog at sumansourabh.in on 21st May 2024.
Around 16 days later, according to Google Analytics, 64 users have landed on the blog.
Is it a good enough number? I don’t know.
The traffic so far is mostly coming from direct traffic, and other from Medium and other socials.
I don’t have ads running on my blog, so surely, revenue is $0. But I have published a few blogs concentrating on solving a problem.
Anyways, my blog is about web and mobile app development revolving around Next.js, React, React Native, etc.
We will see how this goes.
