In this article, I will show you how you can open router ports on a TP-Link router. This will redirect ports from the router to the computer. The Router I am using on this example is: TP-Link Archer A7
- Login from the admin login page of your router:
http://192.168.0.1/- Router credentials and login page can be found on the back of the router.
2. Click on Advanced -> NAT Forwarding -> Virtual Servers
3. Click on Add and fill in the External Port and the Internal IP
- External Ports are the Ports that need to be opened.
- Internal IP is the IP internal IP of the computer.
- To get the internal IP, go to your command prompt and type
ipconfig- And get the Internal IP from Wireless LAN adapter WIFI
4. Click on Save and it’s all done!
