Dubai was never on my destination list but a friends wedding made it all possible.
When i think of Dubai, i could only think of deserts and man made huge buildings and it never somehow pleased me. But, when i landed in Dubai, i was open minded and honestly its quite beautiful. It has a certain comfort in the air - international yet a bit desi. The infrastructure is phenomenal, way better than US in my opinion and no language barrier for an Indian.
It was a great trip purely because of friends, experiencing a Dubai wedding, culture, beaches and the beautiful desert.
