Astrologer Sundeep Kochar’s Marathi Film Bhavishyachi Aishi Taishi — The Prediction To Release On October 6

Out-of-the-box subjects and characters have always flourished in crossover films, still the artists have largely skipped out on experimentation. However, this year is exceptional in that sense. The year 2017, which is nearing an end, saw the rise of unconventional plots in the mainstream cinema.

Several filmmakers have broken the cliché with thinking beyond the obvious mainstream constrains. The audience has appreciated such films, demonstrating that they are open to be entertained with unconventional themes that may not typically battle to be in the Rs 100-crore club.

This year, some films have tried plots that have never been explored in the mainstream cinema. The good news for Bollywood buffs is that Celebrity Astrologer Sundeep Kochar, who has recently received ‘Nostradamus of India Award’ by Ex-Deputy Prime minister of Thailand, is making his debut as an actor through a Marathi film, Bhavishyachi Aishi Taishi — The Prediction.

The movie is India’s first astrological thriller film, which is set to hit the screens on October 6. A real-life astrologer, Sundeep Kochar would be seen playing a reel-life astrologer, Dr Karmarkar in the film.

Produced by Ramesh Talware and directed by Surendra Verma, the Marathi film revolves around Sundeep Kochar and three female actress played by Ruchita Jadhav, Manasi Naik and Harshali Jeni. The film has been written by Chandra Talware, with music by Salil Amrute.

During the promotion of his upcoming film, Sundeep Kochar said, “Filmmakers these days are endeavoring to experiment with fresh ideas that moviegoers connect with on an emotional level. New themes and better technological skills are the keys that have changed the countenance of Indian cinema.”

Talking about his role, the renowned astrologer explained, “The movie is suitably close to doing justice to the concept of astrological predictions and its influence. Although the film is about astrology, it doesn’t endorse blind faith.”

While Kochar’s first focus will always be astrology, he plans on taking up acting projects if the scripts appeal to him. However, he’ll be very selective with them and would like to maintain the parameters he has set for himself as an astrologer.
