Mr.Sunil Tatkare for his Contribution towards Educational Facilities

If the constituency is led by the leader with a developmental vision, the leader uses the opportunity to turn stone into gold. Raigad district is also lead by such a golden touch leader —

“Honorable Mr. Sunil Tatkare”. During his tenure in the state cabinet, he transformed Raigad District positively on different fronts. Being Raigadkar he understands the issues and problems faced by the Konkani people. He continued his work even after his accidental failure in the last election for the betterment of Konkan area people.

Honourable Mr. Sunil Tatkare worked hard to provide water supply, transportation, health, sports infrastructure, educational facilities to Raigad district people. Honourable Mr. Sunil Tatkare believes that education plays a vital role in the betterment of citizens. He always preferred to bring a variety of educational facilities to Raigad district students.

Konkan area is recognized as a remote area of Maharashtra state with less connectivity and poor educational facilities. Honourable Mr. Sunil Tatkare insisted to bring the education facilities up to graduation in Konkan villages itself. He always enforced that Konkani students need not go outside for their educational purpose. He granted permission for many institutes in Konkan area villages too. He released massive amounts of funds for different educational institutes in Raigad and Ratnagiri districts. One of the minority institutes from Raigad district village faced an issue with an Index Number and consequently, the students could not appear an exam due to hall ticket unavailability. When college management requested Honourable Mr. Sunil Tatkare to pay attention in this matter, he immediately resolved the problem by giving Index Number to this institute. For the same institute, he also simplified the way to open Commerce Degree College in the village. He also offered a massive contribution to Tala College and this college is well equipped now to offer educational facilities to more than 1000 students in a year.

Availability of graduation colleges in Konkan area villages availed education facilities at low cost and in a secure environment. It also promoted the education process for girls as it reduced the necessity to travel for a college education.

Honourable Mr. Sunil Tatkare also supported backward caste students by providing them with ultra-modern facilities in their hostel. Many backward caste students are getting the benefits of hostel facility for their educational purpose. He also planned for the overall development of these students and brought various additional facilities like gym, internet, playground, sports utilities for these students.

Along with college educational support, Honourable Mr. Sunil Tatkare also supported many schools in the district. He raised massive funds for the educational institutes which completed more than 50 years in the education process. Pen Private High School, Anjuman Islam Vidyalaya, and other schools, colleges are the beneficiaries of these funds. Honourable Mr. Sunil Tatkare also promoted various professional courses such as nursing, fishery in the district.

Tremendous work performed by Honourable Mr. Sunil Tatkare during his tenure and even after he was not the part of the ruling party is noticed by Raigad district common people and students. Konkani students will always support this true leader and its consequences can be seen as the appointment of Honourable Mr. Sunil Tatkare as the Member of Parliament for Raigad Lok Sabha constituency.
