We were hiking up the trail of death, and i was almost brought to tears (but couldn’t cry because i was hashtag super dehydrated) because i was so defeated and hot and thirsty and didn’t want to be on the hike to begin with (lost my contact lenses that same morning)…and wanted so badly to turn around and give up, but the stooges didn’t let me…

And then we get to the top, turn a corner, and to all of our surprise we see the most picturesque pools of water and waterfalls, and I’m almost brought to tears again (but still can’t cry) this time tears of joy and wonderment..

Then we spent the whole hike down talking about different life analogies we could get from this experience “don’t give up…hard work leads to great reward…blah blah blah…” I guess we were pretty insightful haha

This hike drug me through such a range of emotions, such lows to incredibly highs, and for that it will be remembered as one of the best experiences of my life thus far!

10/10 would recommend if you go prepared (can’t stress that part enough!).
